Warnings and Precautions
: Treat calves with N-Oxam 20 minutes before dehorning. Relieves postoperative pain.
N-Oxam alone will not adequately relieve pain during dehorning. For adequate pain relief during surgery, an appropriate analgesic is required.
If any side effects occur, treatment should be stopped and a veterinarian consulted.
Avoid using this drug in severely dehydrated, hypovolemic, or hypotensive animals requiring intravenous rehydration, as there may be a potential risk of nephrotoxicity
. Accidental self-injection may cause pain. Individuals with a known hypersensitivity to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) should avoid contact with this veterinary drug. In case of accidental self-injection, consult a veterinarian immediately and show the container or label to the veterinarian.
Side effects
: Transient swelling at the injection site has been commonly diagnosed in clinical studies following subcutaneous injection in cattle
. This swelling may be painful. Transient swelling at the injection site has also been observed in clinical studies following intramuscular injection in pigs.
In very rare cases, anaphylactic reactions may occur, which can be serious (including death) and should be treated symptomatically.
Overdose
if necessary. In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment should be initiated.

Storage
: Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C in a dry place and use immediately after opening.
Packaging: Carton containing colorless, transparent glass vials of treated soda-lime (Type II), containing 20, 25, 30, 50, 75, 100, 250, 500, 750, and 1000 ml of solution for injection, sealed with a bromobutyl rubber stopper and an aluminum/PET plastic cap with an outer label and inner cap.

Infloxam
Solution for Injection
(For Veterinary Use Only)
. Composition: Each ml contains
meloxicam 30 mg.
Properties:
Pharmacological Therapeutic Group: Anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic products, non-steroidal (oxicams).
Meloxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the oxicam class, which works by inhibiting the synthesis of Prostaglandins, exhibiting anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative, analgesic, and antipyretic properties. Meloxicam also possesses antiendotoxic properties, having been shown to inhibit thromboxane B2 production induced by the administration of endotoxin toxin to Escherichia coli in calves and pigs.
For use in cases of acute respiratory infections with appropriate antibiotic treatment to reduce clinical symptoms in cattle.
Indications for use:
cattle
For use in cases of diarrhea with oral rehydration therapy to reduce clinical symptoms in calves older than one week and young non-lactating cows; as
adjunctive therapy in the treatment of acute mastitis, in conjunction with antibiotic therapy;
for the relief of post-horn removal pain in
pig calves;
for use in non-infectious locomotor disorders to reduce symptoms of lameness and inflammation; as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of puerperal septicemia (mastitis, metritis, and oliguria syndrome) with appropriate antibiotics.
Dosage and use
Dosage: Solution for subcutaneous injection in cattle, and intramuscular injection in pigs
for whole product
. Cattle: One subcutaneous injection of 2.5 ml/150 kg body weight, concurrently with antibiotic therapy or oral rehydration therapy, as appropriate.
Pigs: One intramuscular injection of 2.0 ml/150 kg body weight, concurrently with antibiotic therapy, as appropriate. If necessary, a second dose of meloxicam may be given after 24 hours.
Contraindications:
1- Do not use in animals with impaired liver, heart, or kidney function, bleeding disorders, or if there is evidence of ulcerative intestinal lesions.
2- Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or any of the excipients.
3- For the treatment of diarrhea in cattle, do not use in animals less than one week old.
